Gary's Restaurant
831 N New Rd, Pleasantville, Pleasantville,
was not inpress by the food or cost. Why can't you just order a whole meal? Why do I have to paid for each item on my plate? It's not that good. I order fried potatoes with my eggs, when they came I was like where is the onions & peppers, the waiterss told me I had to ask for them. Dont they come with fried potatoes? Home fried potatoes!!!

Kelsey & Kim's Soul Food
52 N Main St, Pleasantville, Pleasantville,
The person who wrote the bad review must be from a competitor or doesn't know what good food is. The fried chicken is delicious. No need to add hotsauce, salt or anything always perfect. The rolls nice and soft. Cakes great. The fried shrimp good. I have been eating there for years along with my ex who introduced me to the place when it first opened. The prices are high compared to other soul food places but well worth the extra cost. I love their ribs and the sauce they use. Not sure if they have bottled it yet but they should look into it. As I said they aren't cheap but you get what you pay for which is a great meal, nice portion sizes and friendly clean service. I enjoy cooking and am the person my family goes to for good BBQ and homebaked goods such as rolls, cakes yet when I want someone to cook for me I stop in at Kelsey & Kim's.
